Saving Burp sessions

Bill | Last updated: Jan 15, 2015 08:23PM UTC

Is there a way in Burp to save a set of captured messages and play them back later with fuzzing inserted? That is, once we capture a series of messages to a server, we wish to be able to perform fuzz testing. and we wish to be able to repeat the test later without having to capture and configure the test again. I don't see any way to save a session. There is a 'save Attack' option, not sure if that suits our needs? thanks

If you are referring to Intruder attacks then you have two easy options: - You can save a Burp state file with the series of requests in the Proxy history, and later reload the state file and send each request to Intruder. - You can create each attack in Intruder, and use the Save attack config option on the Intruder menu. Later, you can reload each attack config into Intruder.
