Cant change input or text fields

I seem to have a problem with my Burp Suit where I don't seem to be able to edit any of the fields. Instead of getting a curser I get an arrow. Some details: MAC version 10.10.2 JAVA: java version "1.7.0_25" Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_25-b15) Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 23.25-b01, mixed mode) Burp suit version 1.6.12 Has anyone had this issues before ?

Had the same issue, worked after I installed the 1.7 JRE (not JDK) and launched the Burp JAR by double-clicking on the JAR file instead of running it from the terminal. Downside of course is that there are no memory options set then.

There is a known issue with some versions of Java running on OS X Yosemite. Changing to a different version of Java should fix this. If run Burp from the command line, you can cd into the installation bin directory for the desired version of Java, and launch the java executable directly.

Are there any specific versions known to work? I have tried:1.8.0_40-ea (current) and 1.7.0_80 on 14.0.0 Darwin Kernel Version 14.0.0, aside from not being able to input text (even if I background the process from terminal launch) some settings dont save, but everything else pretty much works except for text input....

This was an issue with Java. Please can you try updating to the latest Java release and see if that helps?

Is there a real solution for this yet?? I'm having the same problems and it makes burpsuite pro pretty useless

We've had a few compatibility issues with BApps and Java 11. We've just pushed a fix for SAML Raider and will look at JSON Web Tokens shortly.

Re-up in this old thread, but seems like this is still an issue with some extensions like JSON Web Tokens and SAML Raider. The fields are populated, I can highlight, but I cannot type inside the text boxes. My Java runtime: $ java -version openjdk version "11.0.1" 2018-10-16 OpenJDK Runtime Environment 18.9 (build 11.0.1+13) OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM 18.9 (build 11.0.1+13, mixed mode, sharing) Thanks !
