Differential Automatic Backup Functionality

Automatic Backup is fantastic, it saved our work quite some time, when the Java environment decided to give up and crash. But, storing every time 700 megs, for example, in a state file, will fill up any hard drive over a weekend. Therefore it would be a great feature to have a differential storage. I know it might be bit difficult to create, but using the operating system software might get the job done on at least OSX and any other *nix based system. It's very easy to realise with rsync and using symbolic links to get this job done, and even in such a way that it is compatible with a full copy version when used on windows (via cygwin e.g.). We're actually working on a complete replacement to Burp's saving state feature. The new feature will let Burp save all data for a project in a file that is updated incrementally in real time. Even if Burp exits abnormally, you'll be able to simply reopen the project file and continue working where you left off. We're hoping to have this feature available within the next 2-3 months.

This will be in v1.7. We don't currently have a release date.
