Dark/Alternate Java Look and Feel

Hello, Is there any way to change the look and feel to anything other than the four in options? If not, are there plans to implement the dark metal/nimbus themes? Thanks! Colin

Burp makes available all of the look and feels that are offered by the platform. We are planning a major overhaul of Burp's UI and at that point we will consider all options for customising Burp's look, probably going beyond what is offered by platform look and feels.

+1 - I'd love a dark theme, perhaps something like the dark theme in the JetBrains's product range? It's now on github, https://github.com/bulenkov/Darcula but no idea how much effort would be involved in porting it. Any java guys here willing to comment?

Hi Mikael, Unfortunately, despite it now being 2018, there hasn't been progress on this. While an extension can use settings on a Swing UIManager to customize some Burp colors, some colors are hard-coded.

Is there any way to create Burp skins by changing assets, or via extentions? Any update on the UI overhaul ? It's 2018 :(

To turn on burp suite DARK THEME. User options > Display > User Interface > Look and feel > Darcula.
