Burp closed without confirmation box

Hi, Not sure this can be considered as a bug but the feature needed to be improved. I launched the burp from cmd command line ( java -jar etc ) to increase the RAM allocation for the software. At one point, I accidentally clicked the command prompt window close button and the burp window closed without any pop-up box to ask for confirmation of close or saving data ( eg. Are you sure you want to exit? ). I lost my burp logs data after burp abrupt closing without confirmation. Not sure it is possible but it would be helpful if the confirmation box come up from such closing of command line window. Thank you. Regards, Mike

Thanks for your message. I'm not aware of any way we could deal with this situation. When you close your command prompt, the OS is immediately terminating any child processes, and Burp isn't being given any opportunity to intercept and override the termination. Depending on your OS, it's possible you can change this behavior or start the Burp process in a different way so that it won't be terminated when the command prompt window closes.
