[Error Connection Refused] SocketException: connection refused.

Hi: When i acces to some web with the proxy activated, BurpSuite intercept the request. But when i press "Forward", appear a error on the navigator: "Error. Connection refused". What can i do? Thanks!

This error indicates that Burp wasn't able to make a network connection to the relevant server. Assuming you haven't configured some unusual settings in Burp or your network, this probably just means that the server in question was down at the time you made the request.

hi: I think i have a normal configuration, but this error appear in all the servers in which i want connect. in the past, i could connect to those servers but now no. What can i do? Thanks!

Please can you try restoring all settings to defaults, via the Burp menu? If that doesn't work, and this problem has just recently appeared at some point, then we would suggest reinstalling Java.

please do not select socks proxy in user option ->connection. if selected then remove it.

Yes you are right. My issue solved by unticking the SOCKS proxy set in user option -> connection

Unchecking SOCKS Proxy under USER OPTIONS > CONNECTION sub-tab fixed my issue too.
