Hello. Im tryring to filter secure pages with burp suite. I tried to install the burps certificate: -Configured the proxy of the explorer(Chrome) -Then entered on http://burp/ -Downloaded the certificate. Then when i open the download folder, i see the certificate is empty, have 0 bytes. I tried to export it and say me : "incorrect format". Tried on firefox and happened again. ¿What can i do? Thanks.

Hi Anfer Thanks for your message. When you click CA Certificate on the http://burp page, are you presented with a download pop up window?

Would it be possible to send us the file so we can investigate further?

I tried to add it in a message on gmail and it say: Error Este archivo contiene 0 bytes; por tanto, no se adjuntará.(This file contains 0 bytes , then , it isnt going to add)

Hi Anfer Have you tried using another browser to download the certificate? You could try using Firefox.

Hi Anfer Have you tried using the "Import / export CA certificate" function within Burp Suite. Go to Proxy > Options > Proxy Listeners > Import / export CA certificate, then follow the CA Certificate wizard.

Hi Jigs Thanks for your message. What do you mean by "0 bytes file size"? Are you having trouble downloading the Burp CA Certificate?

Burp User | Last updated: Sep 29, 2016 05:44AM UTC

Hi Karan Have you tried exporting the certificate via Burp Suite? Go to Proxy > Options > Proxy Listeners > Import / export CA certificate. Save the certificate as a DER file and install it in your browser in the normal way.

Hi Did you download the certificate file from http://burpsuite in your browser? Have you tried downloading the file from "Proxy > Options > Import/export CA certificate"?
