testie | Last updated: Jan 25, 2017 01:44PM UTC

i am using mobile Internet to connect burp over Kali 32 bit over usb tethering ,, but after my first request it moves the screen from browser to burp and no further request is processed . i installed proper burp certificate in firefox as well as proper proxy settings using foxyproxy on a side note i also configured zap proxy using pnh (plug and hack) and it is working properly over usb internet . i don't where i am doing wrong . burp and zap are operated on different ports.

Hi Testie Thanks for your message. As a quick fix, have you tried using ZAP as a proxy between Burp Suite and your mobile internet connection? - https://support.portswigger.net/customer/en/portal/articles/2363078-burp-suite-options-upstream-proxy-servers

the above settings also not working , i set up the proper upstream proxy rule , but burp not intercepting any traffic . while zap is working properly .

Hi Testie Is intercept turned on? Burp Suite should be intercepting the request. The request should appear in the Proxy "Intercept" tab. Are you able to see the http request in this tab? We have two tutorial pages to help you use Burp Proxy within our Support Center, have you checked these out? - https://support.portswigger.net/customer/portal/articles/1783118-getting-started-with-burp-proxy - https://support.portswigger.net/customer/portal/articles/1783119-using-burp-proxy

hii , iam unable to intercept using above method,,, but adifferent behaviour is when i running burp standalone and window moves from browser to burp after request ,,, when i click manually forward every time the responses then come properly( also response as form of web page come in browser) ,,, not when browsing over web ( it just dont display webapges)

Have you tried turning Intercept off in the Proxy > Intercept tab?

oh sorry , wrong question here ,,, actually i want a functionality in burp to not manually forward every request . But like zap let it intercept web browser traffic and store it (then later on check them all) . is there any feature like that in burp .
