Burp Suite Professional Performance

Hi Support, I'm spidering a huge website and burp is getting really allow since the .burp file is getting really big. Is there a way to improve the performance in this case? Is there a way to use a database like MySQL instead of a file? I tried to find a support doc about it but I couldn't find it. Thanks! Ricardo Iramar

Burp's performance should be more or less constant even with very large project files. Most likely, Burp is consuming a lot of memory / CPU resources. Please can you use your system monitor to see if this is the case? If so, please try restarting Burp and opening the same project and see if performance improves again. We'd be grateful to get further details of what you discover, either way.
