Burpsuite starts up then disapears

On kali linux, when I open burp suite from the command line it opens and as soon as I click start burp suite disappears but is still running

Thanks for your message. Please can you try adding —use-defaults at the end of your command to launch Burp. This will prevent any startup problems caused by stored configuration, e.g. relating to the screen position of Burp's window, or extensions. It may be that the window is appearing off screen. In that case using Alt + Space bar can help you recover it. Please let us know if you need any further assistance.

I have the same issue , it just disapears after I click on "start burp" but it still running in task manger .

Hi Ahmed, Can you provide us with some details of your environment? What operating system, what version of Burp and what version of Java are you using when this issue occurs?

I have the same problem I running on Kali Linux, i have tried unistalling and reinstalling the problem persists

Hi Can you let us know what version of Burp and Java you are using when this happens? Are you able to launch Burp from the command line? https://portswigger.net/burp/documentation/desktop/getting-started/launching-from-command-line
