scanner add custom string to each request

Hi, Is there a way to add a custom string to each request submitted using the scanner? I have a customer request that I include a text tag to help them identify the testing traffic from automation. Thanks

Hi John, Thanks for your message. You can do this using Session Handling Rules. Go into Project options > Sessions > Session Handling Rules > Add. Then Rule Actions > Add > Set a specific cookie or parameter value. You can fill in something like "john_mcmullan_pentest" and then enable "If not already present, add as URL parameter". You'll need to configure a scope for your rule. In your scenario, you want to apply to all tools - including Proxy. Please let us know if you need any further assistance.
