Burp import project

Thanks for the new "Burp import project" feature. Burp requires that you have a disk-based project to be able to import projects after opening Burp. So if you have a temporary project then you cannot import. When you save the temporary project, it then becomes a disk based project, but Burp will not let you import a project. There is a way around this, which is to close Burp, re-open it, and then load the saved, disk-based version of what was previously a temporary project. My suggest is that once you have saved a temporary project, you have effectively converted it to a disk-based project, so it would be great if the Burp running configuration could be updated to reflect that, and enable the menu item to do imports. This would avoid the need to close and re-open Burp during the middle of a test if you needed to import a project. Thanks again, Paul

When you save the temporary project (creating a disk based project) you are still running Burp in the temporary project format. We might consider making changes, however, it's not something we'll be working on in the near future.

Thanks for the reply. I thought it was a bug, in that case I will submit as a feature request. Thanks, Paul
