Scanner do not resume

Thomas | Last updated: Mar 13, 2018 07:59AM UTC

Hello, During an active scan I canceled some items and paused the scan (or the opposite, I don't recall the exact sequence). The results was when I tried to resume the scan, the items I wanted to scan stayed in "waiting" state and indicators showed that 0 threads were available. Rebooting Burp fixed it. Note that I didn't try to increase the number of parallel requests (in case it does increase the number of threads as previous Burp version behavior). I do not have more details to share except that the website I was testing was very unresponsive and requests hung during long time. Best regards,

Thanks for this report. Are you able to reproduce this issue consistently? Is the application accessible when this issue occurs?

The issue didn't occur again so far. If by application you mean Burp, it was running fine and was responsive. If you think about the web application I was testing, the particular request Burp was firing was creating exception and caused a long response time. If it occur again, I will provide the details here.
