Support sorting in Burp Extension tag

Currently, sorting doesn't happen when clicking columns headers like Loaded, Type, Name. When having lots of extension,s it's very hard to navigate. https://snag.gy/38SP7T.jpg

Hi, Thanks for suggesting this. I not sure if you've noticed that the horizontal splitter on that tab is movable, so you can make the table larger, which may help a bit. The issue with making that table sortable is that the order of extensions matters - it is the order that callbacks are invoked in.

Its now 2024 and this feature would avoid the constant pain of searching for the extension I loaded from a large list. Searching for that specific extension to load or unload is time consuming. In this case the Fat Controller would say it "causes confusion and delay". So please please please allow us to sort the columns as you have in other features.

Hi Thank you for the feedback. As mentioned before, changing the order that extensions are in in the table changes the order that they are loaded into Burp and can effect the functionality of extensions. For example, you would want to put a logging extension last in the list so that any changes applied by extensions beforehand are reflected in the logging extension. We have added a search bar to the installed extensions table so that you can quickly find a specific extension. I've also added your +1 to a feature request we have to improve the functionality of extension ordering. If there's anything else we can help with, then please let us know.
