localhost in waiting forever

Hi all, im trying to use burp suite with DVWA in order to make some experiments. Burp Suite is configured as written in the guide available in the website. 127.0.0.1 and 8080 as a port. My localhost as well works fine. Proxy activated under firefox with the same numbers as for Burp Suite. However, when i try to navigate the DVWA website, my localhost remains in waiting for so long time. I also tried to navigate using localhost. (dot). Nothing changed, when i activate Burp Suite in a intercept mode my localhost goes in a waiting, in the same moment i DEactivate intercept mode of Burp Suite everythings goes back to theright. Can u help me to understand where is the problem? Txs in advance. G

When intercept is turned on, Burp Suite should be intercepting the request. The request should appear in the Proxy "Intercept" tab. Are you able to see the http request in this tab?
