Edit Running Live Audit Creates New Live Audit

Hi, In Burp Suite Pro v2.0.03beta if I edit a currently running Live scan's configuration, when I save it, a new Live audit appears in the task list and now any request I make goes to both running tasks, thereby duplicating the number of scans I'm running. Steps to reproduce: 1. Click on Settings for an existing Live audit 2. Click on Scan configuration 3. Select a scan configuration to edit (I'm just using the "Current auditing configuration") 4. Click Edit 5. Make the change (I've added an item to ignore .jpg in the "Ignored Insertion Points" area) 6. Click Save, then Ok. 7. New Live audit appears in Tasks list. I've only just noticed this and explains why my scans are grinding to a halt! I would have thought that any changes I make to a task would be reflected in that task, not a new one being created? Thanks for this report Richard. We haven't been able to replicate the issue during initial testing. Do you have performance feedback enabled? Could you send us your diagnostics? (Help > Diagnostics).

Hi, Yep, Debug ID is: u0sxcsblhbx9r9ykp31d:kw5w Diagnostic info exceeds this text box's 5kb limit! Will post separately. I have just installed v2.0.04beta and same behaviour occurs, i.e. any new requests that go through the proxy now get sent to both old and new tasks. Should, perhaps, the original Task have capturing automatically set to Off when a new one is created from it? This could help to minimise multiple duplicate scans. Cheers, -Richard
