burpsuite pro Linux v2_0_04beta crashes during start

Maciej | Last updated: Sep 05, 2018 08:23AM UTC

I installed burpsuite_pro_linux_v2_0_04beta.sh and it crashes shortly after the config selection window during startup. It crashes every time. Previous versions haven't been crashing. When running it via command line, I'm getting the following output: $ BurpSuitePro # # A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment: # # SIGSEGV (0xb) at pc=0x00007fdb285147ab, pid=3134, tid=0x00007fdaf16cd700 # # JRE version: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (8.0_112-b15) (build 1.8.0_112-b15) # Java VM: Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (25.112-b15 mixed mode linux-amd64 compressed oops) # Problematic frame: # C [libbrowsercore-common64-f52b8e50-23d1-4818-bc54-9634da3987a6.so+0x2a7ab] jxb::ipc::Event::Close()+0xb # # Failed to write core dump. Thanks for this report Maciej. Is it possible to enable core dumps and send us the core file? You can send any files to support@portswigger.net. Could you provide us with a link to the ISO you have used to create your VM?
