Disable notification to upgrade to Burp 2.0

Can you please add an option to disable notification to upgrade to Burp 2.0? I'm planning on staying in Burp 1.x for now. It gets tedious click close each time I open Burp.

Dan, as we won't be releasing another upgrade to Burp 1, we won't be introducing this feature. Had we foreseen this being an issue we would have provided an option. We'll be sure to include this option with nay future BETA versions or Burp. Thanks for flagging this up.

I second having a clear way to disable the BETA version upgrade prompts (shouldn't betas be opt-in anyway?). If you could introduce this the next time you fork a BETA stream, that would be helpful. I got myself into a snarl because of this: I accidentally clicked through that prompt and unintentionally ended up on v2.0.xbeta, when I realized I was on an experimental stream (tipped off by the annoying near-daily update prompts) I downgraded myself back to 1.7.37, only to discover that I now can't open any of my project files from the past month. A rather frustrating experience all-round.
