How Do I proxy through Burp while using a VPN

Hi, I am using a vpn service from VPNIPSTATIC as I required a static IP to test a website. I am unable to proxy through Burp even when I have changed the proxy settings in my browser. I am able to proxy using mozilla firefox but the website has some compatibility issues with firefox so that's not working for me. The website opens up perfectly with IE and Chrome but I am unable to proxy using Burp. How do I solve this?

Please can you send a screenshot of your proxy settings in Internet Options. (use support@portswigger.net if you don't want to put it on this public forum) If the VPN is hooking IE/Chrome traffic somehow to ignore the proxy settings, this will be difficult to deal with. You may be able to edit your hosts file and set the domain name of the site you're testing to 127.0.0.1. You could then run Burp in invisible proxy mode, forwarding to the site.
