No comments in reports

I am curious why comments on an issue do not show up in the report? This seems like a strange omission since just seeing issues in a report without supporting comments does not give a complete picture of work done on an issue.

Unfortunately, comments in reports is not supported. While you can add comments to the Issue Activity tab, you can't add comments to issues on the Site Map, which is where most people generate reports. We are going to look at upgrading the reporting functionality in future, although this is likely to be a little way out. In the meantime, editing the HTML to add comments is a workaround.
