Automate Burp scans using Carbonator extension

Akshay | Last updated: May 02, 2019 08:35AM UTC

I have burp pro v2.0.1 beta in which i have installed carbonator plugin for the automation of burp scans. As a pre-requisite for this extension, i have downloaded and used jython-standalone-installer-2.7.0.jar file and used it in the jython jar path within burp extender options. When i tried to run this command $java -jar -Xmx2g -Djava.awt.headless=true “C:\Program Files\BurpSuitePro\burpsuite_pro.jar” http zero.webappsecurity.com 80 login.html This is giving me error " Deleting temporary files - please wait ... Failed to delete temp directory: C:\Users\Admin\Documents\Temp\burp7639831685543871458.tmp" and abruptly closes the window. Also , the spider doesnt crawl all urls which would have been the case if burp was used in GUI manual mode. Same is the case with scanner. How do i rectify this error and get a better crawling and scanning capability when using carbonator?

There's a bit of a backlog in terms of Burp extension queries at the moment, but we'll look into these issues and get back to you as soon as we can. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Can you try updating your version of Burp Pro to the latest version and see whether the problem still occurs? If you still have an issue, can you try contacting the author of the Carbonator extension? You should be able to find their details here: - https://github.com/integrissecurity/carbonator
