What configuration steps are you performing? Are you encountering an error message?

I am using community edition, i go to user options and choose upstream proxy. I added my localhost as proxy server and 8080 as port. I keyed in a user and password. But no luck. Can you please help?

Bharath, do you see any errors in the Dashboard > Event log?

Bharath, from the screenshot it looks like you've configured Burp to try and use itself as an upstream proxy. Please ensure you configure these settings correctly.

Hi Liam, I do not see any error as such. You please let me know what values are to be given to Destination host and Proxy Host? I have installed burp on my local system. I am a little clueless on how to use the proxy with Digest Auth, can we have a video call/screen sharing if possible ?

Thank you for your reply. How can i use burp as Digest Authentication Proxy? I am comparing this with squid Proxy. Is this possible?

If you have this configured with Squid proxy, would it be possible to use Squid in a proxy chain with Burp Suite? - https://support.portswigger.net/customer/portal/articles/2363078-burp-suite-options-upstream-proxy-servers
