  • Site map settings saved in project file

Hi, First off, thanks for the new project functionality. Really love it. I'm using Burp Suite Professional v1.7.03. When I try to save the Target | Site map filter settings (e.g. Filter by request type: Show only requested items - Filter by Mime type: Flash), it looks like those settings are saved under Project options. Question: Wouldn't it make more sense to save the filter opti...

  • Fails to capture Location HTTP header field

Hi, I am using Burp v1.7.03 and it appears burp is not capturing the redirection requests from a 302 (found) contained in a response; were the HTTP header field contains a valid ‘Location: https://xxxx.xxxx.com’ value. I can see the redirection is called/loaded within the browser (firefox) window, but not captured/recorded in burp. I note on the page https://portswigger.net/burp/help/option...

  • Repeater numbering 'restarts' after resuming project

Hi, I'm using Burp Suite Professional v1.7.03. When resuming a saved *project* (those files get big!), it seems like the numbering of Repeater tabs is off. When you have e.g. 50 tabs open, it resumes with say 45, so there are duplicate numbers. Sometimes I rename tabs, sometimes I close them. Regardless, it's not handy that you get multiple tabs with the same number. A check for dupl...

  • HTTP History doesn't sort requests correctly

Hi, I'm using Burp Suite Professional v1.7.03. When using a session with more than 1000 requests in the HTTP history window and sorting on the order (#, first column), the order is wrong: Request 1200 is ordered lower than 2. When not filtering any requests, my sort order looks like (from top to bottom) e.g. 437,429,411,352,409,406 And, if I click on the order increment/decrement (change th...

  • Scanner "X-Forwarded-For dependent response" check alters Content-Type?

I'm seeing behavior from the active scan check for "X-Forwarded-For dependent response" that changes the effect of the request and seems likely to produce false positives. When the scanner sends the request with the added X-Forwarded-For header, it changes the content type. In lots of apps that intend to use JSON this will change the response, meaning that the test is going to b...
